What is the difference between Classic Protein, Warrior Blend, and Classic Plus?

All three of these products are plant-based proteins that taste great and tend to be gentler on the digestive system than whey or soy-based proteins.

Classic Protein is made from fermented brown rice. This simple formula is suggested for those with food allergies, digestive issues, and our customers who maintain a simple diet.

Warrior Blend is a synergistic combination of pea, goji berry, and hemp proteins with the bonus of medium-chain triglycerides from coconut. Warrior Blend has a slightly better amino acid profile and includes the anti-inflammatory power of coconut to speed recovery.

Classic Plus relies on brown rice, pea, quinoa, chia, and amaranth for ancient grain goodness without gluten or carbs. It has a similar amino acid profile to Warrior Blend but a slightly different texture and flavor. All are highly effective sources of protein, so it really comes down to personal preferences. Can I take your products when pregnant and or nursing?

You should always consult a health care professional before beginning any new supplements, especially while pregnant or nursing. This applies to even the best plant-based superfoods. All the ingredients in Sunwarrior products are considered safe in the amounts found in foods. Always use supplements in moderation and follow suggested use on the labels.

Can I give your products to my child?

It is always important to discuss diet changes and supplementation with your health care professional, especially when it comes to your children. Children under the age of two years should not be given our products. They may be safe to use in moderation for children older than two.

Are your products certified organic?

One of Sunwarrior’s three pillars is our dedication to being organic. We strive to source only the best organic ingredients whenever possible. We have many products that are Certified Organic, so be on the lookout for the official organic seal on your favorite Sunwarrior product

What Is The Equivalent of the Scoops in Tablespoons?

While each product varies slightly, a 25 g serving size is approximately 4 tablespoons.

Can I take more than the suggested serving size of your proteins?

We recommend you consult with your health care provider to determine the amount of protein that best suits your health and fitness goals. We do not recommend taking more than the recommended daily value for protein. Go over your body’s daily recommended protein. Your body generally requires 10–15% of your diet to consist of protein.  

Is there caffeine in your products?

Yes - Some of our products contain caffeine such as Collagen Building Protein Coffee and Active Energy Watermelon Waves and Mango Lemonade.

Do your products need to be refrigerated?

None of our products require refrigeration, but keep those packages in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.

Are your products Kosher, gluten-free, dairy-free & non-GMO?

Sunwarrior believes that plants provide the cleanest and most powerful foods, rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and phytonutrients. All our products are gluten-free, non-GMO, dairy-free, and most are certified organic. Many of our products are certified Kosher. Those with a Kosher symbol OU (from Orthodox Union) printed on the supplement facts panel are Kosher certified.

Are there heavy metals in your products, and are you Prop 65 Compliant?

Sunwarrior protein comes entirely from organic plants grown in mineral-rich soils. This means we’re comparable to whole foods like brown rice, fruits, leafy greens, and other vegetables that naturally absorb trace metals. The closer to the soil and the more water-loving a plant, the more it takes in.

We only source the finest plant-based ingredients. Our proteins are Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, and consistently test below EU, WHO, and FDA safety standards. We’re also Prop 65 compliant, which is the strictest standard and nearly impossible for plant-based sources to meet. We test internally and through an independent lab for more than is required. We then quickly refuse ingredients that don’t meet our strict levels of quality because we take immense pride in knowing, thoroughly vetting, and loving our ingredients before we pass them on to you.

Allergy Information

Are there any common allergen ingredients in your products?

We produce our powders without any of the top allergen threats in the industry used as ingredients. Not only do our co-packers have Allergen Statements, processes, and segregated buildings, we require these same standards of each vendor that supplies our raw components as well. In addition, we conduct quarterly Allergen Audits of all our facilities to make sure compliance is in effect. We also test our finished powders bi-yearly for the complete array of top allergens to verify that nothing has changed in the product environment or makeup. Our powders do not come in contact with soy, dairy, egg, nuts/tree nuts, fish, crustacean shellfish, or gluten. We as a company are absolutely committed to do everything possible to maintain an allergen-free environment and product line. With that in mind, our products either contain or come in contact with coconut.

Are there any gluten or wheat ingredients in your products?

While wheatgrass is a wheat product, it does not contain gluten.  Our Ormus Supergreens and our Beauty Greens Collagen Booster contain wheatgrass. If you have a wheat allergy, then we would not recommend these products for you. However, if you are just gluten intolerant, then these products would be safe for you.  We harvest the wheatgrass while it is young, from the sprouts before they germinate. There is no risk for gluten intolerance nor celiac disease. This is how we can state it is gluten-free. We always recommend that you consult a physician if you are unsure of what you can and cannot consume due to your allergy. 



Is Sunwarrior Sustainable?

Sunwarrior’s entire product lineup is 100% plant-based, and we source our ingredients from sustainable growers who use regenerative agriculture. We don’t harm the oceans, and we have no use for factory farming of animals (yay, vegan!). All of our amazing products are created with our mission in mind, to nourish & transform the planet, one individual at a time.

Over the years, Sunwarrior has transitioned to a container made with 100% post-consumer recycled milk cartons that can be recycled again! Our container designs have also reduced our energy consumption during storage and transportation. They are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and we use plastic #2 (HDPE), the safest form of plastic in the world. CLICK HERE for tubtastic ideas to reuse our tubs!

We pioneered the square tub, which saves space, packs more tightly for less damage and waste, saves energy in transport, and even allows us to have a smaller manufacturing plant and warehouse than the bag-in-a-box style of packaging or the round tubs. Stocking only three sizes of tubs also creates an efficiency that limits environmental waste. But that doesn’t mean we’re stopping there! Every day, we are searching for greater sustainability and minimizing our carbon footprint. In fact, using the EPA Recycled Content Tool, we were able to estimate our life-cycle greenhouse emissions impact savings.

My container isn’t full. Am I getting what I paid for?

Yes! Our products are measured and sold by weight. When we dispense our powders into the containers, the containers are nearly full. During shipping, the powders settle, leaving the extra space. We recommend shaking the powder up to loosen it and to ensure that you are getting the most accurate serving. Rest assured, you still have all of your servings.

Because our containers are made from 100% recycled material and are 100% recyclable, you’re positively impacting the planet when you recycle or re-purpose the containers.

In fact, some retailers are adopting a tub refill solution and offering discounts if you bring your own tub. Check your local Health Food Store for details.

Can products be used after their expiration dates?

Supplements begin to lose potency after the expiration date. They are usually safe to consume for some time after the expiration date, but use caution and know you are not getting the full potency. If any product begins to smell “off” or show any signs of spoilage, it should be discarded immediately, regardless of the expiration date. Follow guidelines for storage, and the product may last longer. 

How do I sign up for subscribe and save?

If you clear your cart completely to have nothing in it, then go to the store tab and pick the product you want to place in your cart.  At that point, you will see the option on the right side of the image to choose whether you want to do a one-time purchase or a subscription purchase.  Follow that for each item you would like, and then check out like normal.
